BJJ, submission wrestling og thaiboksning som blev et af de spor som på daglig basis, har dannet rammen for at udvide ens horisont i anderledes tilgange til træning.
I started training bjj and submission wrestling in 2003, when there finally was an opportunity to develop my interest in ground fighting.
● What training background do you have?
The underlying narrative for training comes from the fact that I was previously an elite swimmer and elite tennis player. The 2 forms of competitive sports together form a strong basis for further developing a strong mindset in the world of competitive sport.
BJJ, submission wrestling and Thai boxing which I train on a daily basis, has expand my horizon in different approaches to training.
● What do you teach?
I teach BJJ, submission wrestling, Thai boxing and MMA.
● What do you get out of training?
By training, I am not just helping other people develop. I also develop myself. This is a constant dynamic field where the knowledge and technical ability is constantly evolving. Being able to show other people something that means something to oneself, and can make them copy what is shown and later put it together in different physical context. To see other people’s happiness from succeeding, gives me a great joy in life.
