🥇 Three European champions from Arte Suave!
Results from IBJJF Europeans
Last week we had 16 competitors ranging from white belt all the way up to black belt, at the IBJJF European jiu-jitsu championship held in Portugal. We are as always proud to have so many students who are willing to step up to the challenge and competing at the highest levels of jiu-jitsu.
The Europeans is a long event spanning over more than a week, so it is great to be a big group that can support one another and socialize in- and around the days of matches.
Whether our competitors went all the way to the podium or lost their first match, they all bring home valuable competition experience and memories of the trip with their teammates. Well done to everyone of you and congratulations on your results and hard work leading up to the competition! A special congratulations to Grace, Joachim and Piotr who can call themselves Europeans champions!

Competing at international IBJJF tournaments
If you are interested in competing at bigger jiu-jitsu tournaments, there are plenty of opportunities in 2026. We encourage you to travel together with others from the club, as it’s more fun, easier, and often cheaper when we go together as a team.

New thai pads
Finally, we have brought in new Fairtex pads for thaiboxing – therefore we are selling our old ones for 300 DKK for a pair. Contact our reception if you are interested in buying.
