Last weekends results from Grappling Industries
Last weekend we had a really great turnout of 19 competitors from Arte Suave at Grappling Industries.
All of the competitors made a great effort and got some good competition experience, with several podium appearances, and Marcus and Yaw even managing to get double gold!
Arte Suave also won the best academy trophy for adults, which we are also of very proud of.
Big congratulations to you all and well done. And thank you to those who came to support and coach, it is greatly appreciated.

ADCC referee course in Arte Suave
This Saturday Arte Suave will host a free referee course in the ADCC ruleset:
Official Referee Course by ADCC Denmark Sunday, February 24th 2024, 12:00 – 14:00
The course contains the ADCC Rules practical review and testing of the rules. By completing the course, the participant obtains the degree of C-license referee under the rules of ADCC.
Remember to bring a rash guard and shorts without pockets or zippers. Since we will practice the rules with test matches.
C-license holders are allowed to referee at;
– Academy competitions
– Cups
– Beginner competitions
– National and Open Championships
B-license holders are allowed to referee at;
– Trials
– Continental Championships (European / North American Championships etc…)
A-license holders can referee at
– World Championships
The course will be held by ADCC Denmark Head referee Joachim Christensen.
It is mandatory for all participants to watch the explanation of ADCC Rules on Youtube and read the entire ADCC Rules in advance to this Referee Course!

Pull up and muscle up workshop 10th of March
After last times success, Arte Suave will host another workshop in our performance gym, this time led by Marinela and Ronny.
The workshop will be for everyone, regardless of experience.
You can register to the workshop under the tab “events” on your Arte Suave profile.

Coming up: ADCC Denmark Open 2024
The ADCC Denmark Open championship is happening the 2nd of March, and will be held in Grøndals Multicenter.
This is a great opportunity to meet some high level and international competitors, as well as getting experience in the ADCC rule set. We recommend that everyone who attends, look up the rule set, as it is a bit different and has some intricacies compared to other rule sets in jiu jitsu.
We hope to see a lot of attendees to this event, and look forward to it.

DM Muay Thai 2024
We also have a fighter, Benjamin Akpuaka, competing at DM Muay Thai 2024, this weekend the 24th of February, in Kalundborg.

On a different event but also on 24th of February, we have Milan Bodhi Silva Mørck, who is fighting his next professional MMA match in Esbjerg. We are very excited for Milan and wish him luck!
