Results from Milan Open 2024
Last weekend Arte Suave was represented by five competitors at Milan Open: Alex Naumov, Heide Truong, Kennet Rosenkilde Christensen, Vincent Ringgaard Christoffersen and William Tregart. The group had some really good results, and we are very proud of all of their performances and their willingness to compete at this level. Two standout performances were by Kenneth who competed in four different divisions, and brought home three gold medals and one silver, and William who won gold in both the gi and no-gi division.
They were accompanied by Joachim Christensen, who coached them through the matches and helped with strategy.
In-between, and after the matches the group also got to experience a bit of the beautiful city of Milan and some Italian cuisine.

Results from Upcoming fighters in Albertslund
Last weekend we had three fighters at the amateur muay thai competition Upcoming Fighters: June Hjalmby, Mateo Fernandez and Christian Jacobsen.
Mateo fought hard in all three rounds, but unfortunately lost on points. Christian was stopped in the first round, but June demonstrated her talent and dominated all three rounds to take the trophy home! Congratulations to June and the entire team! Thank you to everyone who came to support watch the matches!
Results from The Ultimate White Belt Challenge
Finally, in the same weekend we had 14 competitors at The Ultimate White Belt Challenge at Siam Jiu-jitsu. We are grateful to Siam for organizing the tournament and making a good experience for the competitors. We are also happy to see our members joining and supporting the tournament, and we look forward to the next one. Well done to all of you and congratulations on your results and on challenging yourself to join what was likely the first tournament for some of you.

Kids Graduation
Last week we held a graduation ceremony with almost 80 kids attending. We are very happy to see our youth program continuously grow and expand, and to be a part of raising the next generation of Danish jiu-jitsu practitioners.
The kids had a blast as they all enjoy getting new stripes and belts – maybe almost as much as we adults do.
A big thank you to our instructors who teach the kids, you all do a great job!
Masters Europe in Barcelona
