Results from MMA Galla
Last weekend we had two fighters, Bruce Ali and Mohamad Al Jayyal, competing at MMA Galla in Glostrup. Bruce fought well, but unfortunately lost on points. Mo did what he came to do, finishing his opponent in the very first round with a rear naked choke.
Well fought to both of you and congratulations to Mo on his victory!
Muay Thai Seminar with Krutoy done
Last weekend Arte Suave hosted a muay thai seminar with Krutoy. Everyone learned a lot and got some new tools in their toolbox. We will continue to host these kind of seminars, to continuously develop our fighters and get new perspectives.
Danish Open coming up – staff still needed
Danish Open 2024 is on the steps and we are excited to see over 700 total registrations and over 60 participants from Arte Suave, as of writing.
Arte Suave is hosting the tournament, and we are still in need of staff.
Here’s what working as staff entails:
We will need help setting everything up on Friday the 26th from approximately 5:00 PM. On April 27th and 28th, we will meet at 8:00 AM until we finish. We don’t know yet when we’ll be done, as registration is still open. We need people for weigh-in, uniform checks, staff at the tables, runners, etc. We hope you are interested in helping.
We pay 750 DKK for the day on both Saturday and Sunday, and there will be full catering both days.
We pay 500 DKK for helping on Friday.

New WOD coach – Morten Møgelberg Nielsen
We welcome Morten Møgelberg Nielsen as the new instructor for our Monday WOD class from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. We are incredibly happy that Morten has chosen to be part of the instructor team at our Performance gym and we hope you will give him a warm welcome.
BBQ at Arte Suave
It’s getting warmer and that means we’re once again hosting barbecues at Arte Suave.
The first BBQ of the year will be on the 3rd of May from 4 PM to 9 PM.
We’re setting up a grill so we can barbecue after training, and we provide cutlery and plates for dining. Remember to bring your own food and drinks!
We’ll start the grill at 6 PM so people have time to shower after training. This is for all members of Arte Suave, so come by after WOD, BJJ, MMA, or kickboxing. And let’s hope for good weather!
