🌎 2x Bronze medalist at Worlds!
Last weekend William Axeltoft Tregart, Heide Truong and Aleksandra ‘Ola’ Moranda went to the IBJJF world championship in Long Beach, California.
Heide unfortunately missed weight, so she didn’t compete.
William won his first match, but unfortunately lost his second match by points.
Ola had a incredible run – she had 7 matches in total, winning 5 of them by submission, and losing two by advantage/points, thereby getting bronze in her own weight as well as bronze in the open weight.
Well done to all of you and big congratulations to Ola!
Another great BBQ at Arte Suave
Last Friday we had another really nice barbecue event in front of Arte Suave. It was great to see everyone have a good time and enjoy each others company. These events are a great way to get to know your training partners a bit better, or talk with someone you haven’t talked with before.
Our club has a lot of different people with varied and interesting backgrounds, and it is always nice to hear a bit about what you all do, besides kicking each other and rolling around on the floor.
We hope to see many of you at the next barbecue, which will be on the 28th of June.
Come by and grill or drink a beer and have a laugh.

Results from Low key MMA in Odense
Last weekend Mikkel Jenker had his first MMA match in Odense.
Mikkel dominated the first round, with some good exchanges and nice groundwork.
In the second round, however, a very unfortunate thing happened: The opponent made an illegal soccer kick to the head while Mikkel was on his hands. Mikkel won due to the opponent getting disqualified, but this was of course not the way he had wanted to win.
Well fought and congratulations to Mikkel, we cross our fingers and wish you good health.
Graduation 21st of June
On June 21st we will have a graduation ceremony from 17:00-19:30.
Everyone from the club is welcome.
Come and celebrate your training partners, and maybe your name will also be called up, and you will receive a new stripe or belt.
Also: Remember to stay for the shark tank; last time, too many people left right after the graduation. We would like everyone to stay and congratulate the person who has graduated by rolling with them.

Kids and juniors graduation 25th of June
To all parents and young grapplers at Arte Suave!
We are excited to announce that we will be holding a graduation for our children’s and junior teams on Tuesday, June 25th.
Here are the details you need to know:
📅 Date: Tuesday, June 25th
🕓 Graduation Schedule:
Children’s team (5-8 years): 16:00-17:00
Children’s team (9-12 years) and Junior team: 17:00-18:00
Please note that due to the graduation, there will be no regular training sessions at 16:00, 17:00, or 18:00 on the same day. Additionally, this will be the last training session before our summer break. Graduation is always exciting, and we look forward to celebrating the progress and achievements of our young grapplers before they go on their well-deserved break.
We look forward to seeing all our dedicated and talented students on the mat, and have them receive their well-deserved promotions.
To participate in the graduation, please sign up in the class schedule as you normally do. Don’t miss the graduation!
