Results from Malmö Open
Last weekend we had 16 competitors at Malmö Open which stretched over two days – one day dedicated to gi and one for no-gi. The competition had over 1100 registrations and provided some good competition for our athletes.
The team earned 8 gold medals, 8 silver medals and 2 bronze medals.
Well done to everyone who competed and congratulations on your results!

Open mat for Checkmat members this weekend
This Saturday, the 29th of November, Arte Suave will host another open mat for all Checkmat members, from 10:00 to 12:00.Make sure to show up and get some rolls with people you might not usually get to train with! Open mat is a great way to train and is recommended for people of all levels.
Copenhagen Open 6th of December
The 6th of December is the last Danish competition of the year. The final date to register, is the 30th of November, so don’t wait up!
If you don’t plan on competing, you can still show up and cheer on and coach your teammates and watch some matches.
Christmas Graduation for kids and juniors 11th of December
We are holding a belt promotion on Thursday, December 11th.
16:00-17:00 for the kids aged 5-8
17:00-18:00 for the kids aged 9-12 and the juniors.
This means there will be no regular kids and juniors training this day.
As always, this will also mark the last kids and juniors training of December, before going on Christmas vacation.
Parents and children are asked to bring indoor shoes that they can change into when passing through the reception.
The promotion is a celebration of the children’s progress, and therefore they are the focus of this day.

Christmas Graduation adults
The final belt promotion of the year and Christmas celebration will be on Friday, December 19th at 17:00.
We will have belt promotions, take a group photo and train, in that order. Remember to bring all your medals for the group photo, and make sure to stay and roll with those newly promoted!
