Summer Camp 2026
Are you joining this year’s Summer Camp? We are excited to welcome one of the world’s best Jiu-Jitsu fighters and instructors, Leo Vieira! The camp will take place at Arte Suave from August 13th to 16th.
Who is Leo Vieira?
Leonardo “Leozinho” Vieira is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Romero Cavalcanti, known for his spectacular and crowd-pleasing style. He has an impressive competition record and is a co-founder of Checkmat BJJ alongside his brother, Rico Vieira.
As an active competitor, Leo has won multiple World and ADCC championships. As a coach, he has trained some of the world’s best grapplers, including Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida, Lucas Leite, João Assis, Adam Wardzinski, Gabriel Almeida, Matheus Gabriel, and many more. He is currently the head instructor at Checkmat HQ in Long Beach, CA.

Camp Schedule:
The camp includes four days of Jiu-Jitsu training and belt promotion, with over 12 hours of training from Thursday to Sunday.
Thursday:
- 09:00-11:00 BJJ
- Lunch Break
- 18:00-20:00 BJJ
Friday:
- 09:00-11:00 BJJ
- Lunch Break
- 16:00-18:00 BJJ
Saturday:
- 10:00-12:00 BJJ
- Lunch Break
- 15:30-17:30 BJJ
- 17:30-18:30 Belt Promotion Ceremony
Sunday:
- 10:00-12:00 BJJ

Early Bird Prices (until July 31st):
- Arte Suave/CheckMat Members: 1,200 DKK (Per day: 400 DKK)
- Non-CheckMat Members: 1,500 DKK (Per day: 700 DKK)
After July 31st:
